He loved many kinds of music, and his talented singing earned him the starring role in the Mikado while in high school. He was an avid fisherman and loved boating. Walter was a congregant of Redeemer Presbyterian Church and has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the church at 6415 Mount Vista Road, Kingsville, MD 21087. A viewing will be held at Lassahn Funeral Home, 7401 Belair Road, Baltimore, MD on Friday, February 23, 2018, 3-5 and 7-9 pm.
